5 random things about me

Category: About Me. Posted by Barbara at 4:51 pm.

Amy tagged me, and I am also tagged by Julana for another challenge….

So apologies Julana - this one is quicker so I will do this one first - and give your 7’s a bit of thought!

1. When I was pregnant the first time, I had cravings for old fashioned, cloudy lemonade and chocolate. The second time it just had to be tropical fruits - mango, papaya, passion fruit, lychees, anything like that!!

2. I have a large beauty spot - freckle type mark on my left thigh. My dad has one in a similar place and so does my daughter.

3. I learned to drive when I was 27.

4. I do not like ironing.

5. I have known my husband since I was 15 year old and we started dating at 17. We were engaged at 21 and married at 24. He was, and is, my one and only!!!

Is that random enough?

  1. I also was a late driver, I didn’t get my license until I was 23 and pregnant with my first son. It’s good to see someone else out there who was late starting too.

  2. Interesting about those beauty mark things and how they run in families. I remember as a child seeing that my Mother had one, although she didn’t pass it on to me. If she had, and if it were in the same spot as her’s, I’m sure my wife would find it very interesting!

  3. Amy,

Glad I was not the only one to start driving later!

    Luke,

I don’t think I will ask too many more questions as this is a Child Friendly site - suffice to say that I am pretty curious though as to where it may be!!!!!!!!

  4. Your love story seems so romantic to me.
It would be hard to survive in our area, without driving. Our city does not have good mass transit.

  5. Julana,
Yes I suppose our story is quite romantic.

I think it was because Roger was always there to ferry me around that I really had no real impetus to drive myself….
